Training
Through her work training across Canada and internationally with Riverdale Mediation Ltd., Elizabeth has developed expertise in designing customized training programs in conflict resolution in both the family and community context. Elizabeth's LL.M. thesis focused on training in the areas of bullying and social-emotional learning in a school-based environment.
From 2016 to 2018, Elizabeth was part of a team designing and delivering conflict resolution skills to judges, lawyers, community leaders, NGOs, and child welfare workers in Grenada, St Kitts-Nevis, Dominica, Barbados, and Guyana.
Elizabeth provides workshops in conflict resolution, negotiation theory and skills, and understanding power imbalance and intimate partner violence.
Mediators in training
We have opportunities for those who have completed their certification/accreditation mediation training and are ready to complete the 100-hour practical component of the program. In addition, we offer Parenting Coordination Supervision for those who are completing their PC certification with FDRIO.
